It might be a new year, but there’s some things that don’t change. As a PNW elopement photographer, my opinion that eloping is for everyone, is one of those things. Eloping used to mean running away and getting married in secret. Luckily for those of us who enjoy theatrics, it can still totally be that. […]

If the ocean or Washington beaches are special to your relationship, you might want to consider a San Juans elopement. Off the northwestern coast, nestled between the Washington mainland and Canada’s Vancouver Island, the San Juan Islands float in a temperate climate.

You got engaged, and are thinking maybe a big traditional wedding isn’t for you. You’d love to have those Twilight hoa hoa vibes on your big day, or maybe you’re just feeling drawn to the shore. Either way, if you’re considering an Olympic National Park Elopement, then this guide is for you.

One of the benefits of eloping is getting to skip a lot of the planning (and vendors) that comes with traditional weddings, and you can say “I do” a hell of a lot faster. So if you’re engaged, and starting to feel the itch to just do the damn thing already, here’s a few tips to help you elope quickly in Washington.

Alright, so maybe I’m biased, but it’s definitely my favorite, especially when you take into account the variety of spectacular climates and views Washington has. I’ve hiked through rainforests, to waterfalls, up mountains, on beaches and to fire lookouts. I’ve seen every corner of this beautiful state, so I know if you’re planning a Washington elopement, you have your pick of stunning locations.

Working with couples on crafting their perfect Washington hiking elopement is one of my favorite things. With this summer hiking season coming to a close, I’ve been working on updating my hiking spreadsheet. Yes, you read that right. I have a spreadsheet for hiking.
